Well it’s the moment everyone in Austin has been waiting for and it’s nearly upon us. It all starts this Friday 3/11/2011. If you are new to Austin you will defiantly want to check out the reason that makes Austin truly what it is and the reason why Austin is often considered one of the largest music cities in the world. I’m talking about South by Southwest (SXSW). Consisting of interactive, media and music shows, the festival brings over an estimated 100 Million dollars annually to the Austin economy making it the highest revenue maker in the special event category. More than 12,000 registrants show up in anticipation of hearing their favorite bands, checking out the newest social media crazes and scoping out all the film talent has to offer. Austintageous will be working all of these wonderful events getting to take in firsthand the madness that comes with this festival.
